Welcome to UCD Coach. These terms are short, because the deal is simple: the site is free, the content is information rather than advice, and we ask you to use it reasonably.
What UCD Coach is
UCD Coach is a free digest about the design industry — trends, tools, AI workflows, methods, design systems, hiring and events. Briefings are generated with AI assistance under editorial rules (every claim sourced and dated), and some content is hand-curated. It is provided for general information.
What it isn't
UCD Coach is not professional advice. Career decisions, tool purchases, and job applications are yours to make; check the linked sources and use your judgement. We link out to third-party sites (including job listings and event pages) that we don't control and aren't responsible for.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep briefings sourced, dated and accurate, and we label hype as hype — but the design industry moves quickly and we can't guarantee that everything is complete, current or error-free. If you spot a mistake, tell us at ucdops@icloud.com and we'll fix it.
Using the site
You're welcome to read, share links to, and quote briefings with attribution to UCD Coach and a link. Please don't scrape the site wholesale, republish substantial parts of it as your own, misrepresent it, or use it in a way that breaks the law or disrupts the service. Site content, design and branding are owned by Sprintpilot Limited or used under licence; sourced material remains the property of its original publishers, which is why every briefing links to its source.
The weekly email
The newsletter is optional and free. You confirm your subscription when you sign up and can unsubscribe at any time. How we handle your email address is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”, free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on the content or from interruptions to the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and law
We may update the site, its features, or these terms at any time; the date above shows the current version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
