A recent designer-to-designer conversation on the Figma-first reality of AI workflows found the same thing most of us experience: AI shows up as plugins, prompts and helpers *around* Figma, not as a tool that replaces it. That's **adoption**, not hype — it's already how working designers operate, but it's incremental, not revolutionary. The 'AI will replace Figma' narrative doesn't match what practitioners are actually doing day to day.
